چکیده
Structural acrylic adhesives have been attracted special interest because theses can be cured at room temperature and bonded to oily substrates. To use adhesively joints more widely for structural use, it is necessary clarify fatigue crack propagation characteristics. In this study, growth rate was measured using unidirectional woven CFRP/aluminum double cantilever beam (DCB) with an adhesive. elucidate the difference of rates between adhesive CFRP adherends, finite element analysis conducted these joints, wherein Gurson's model applied layer. The differences elucidated from distributions void fraction in front tip both joints.

Simulations using the Finite Element Method (FEM) play an increasingly important role in the design process of joints and fasteners in the aerospace industry. In order to utilize the potential of such adhesive bonding, there is an increasing need for effective and accurate computational methods. The geometry and the nature of an adhesive joint are, however, not so simple to describe effectively...
متن کاملCrack Path Selection in Adhesively Bonded Joints: the Roles of External Loads and Specimen Geometry
This paper investigates the roles of external loads and specimen geometry on crack path selection in adhesively bonded joints. First, the effect of mixed mode fracture on crack path selection is studied. Using epoxy as an adhesive and aluminum as the adherends, double cantilever beam (DCB) specimens with various T-stress levels are prepared and tested under mixed mode fracture loading. Post-fai...
